It's my birthday!!

It actually was my birthday this Monday, 17th of June. MondayI went out for dinner  with my family and Tuesday I  celebrated it with some friends at a japanese restaurant. I had a great time. I am going to show you what outfit I wore with my friends.

Candice Swanepoel just changed her hair from blonde to platinum, what do you guys think?
In this picture of the new hair I couldn't stop thinking about Marilyn Monroe, since Candice's hair looks short, just like Marilyn's. Hours after this change Candice attended the amfAR Gala showing of her new hair. As she said in the description of this picture #embracethechange

 

CFDA Fashion Awards 2013

First of all sorry for not posting so much this week, it was because of school. But now I am back!!
Two days ago Alessandra Ambrósio posted pictures of her CFDA red carpet look on instagram (@alecambrosio), and guess what? She looked perfect, and the gown was perfect too. Together with Alessandra's look I am going to posting some of  my CFDA Fashion Awards 2013 favorites. Also I am going to share with you guys who won what!
PS: CFDA aka Council of Fashion Designers of America.

Alessandra was the best dressed of the night in my opinion. Simple yet gorgeous.

Adriana Lima, dress as a whole, but I  think that on top maybe some skin could show, in the front or even in the back. Adriana was in Givenchy.

Mandy Moore in Lela Rose. I don't even know exactly why but I really liked this dress.

Mandy looked flawless, but if I were her I would have chosen another color for the shoes, I know you can't see them in this picture but they were nude.

Trend: The trend that appeared in my favorites was a type of "Greek Goddess" look. A lot of whites and golds. All these woman are "goddesses"of the modern times.

Holographic/Metallic Trends

 The Spring/Summer of 2013 is going to be colorful from all angles and directions as one of the trends going on right now is the metallic/holographic trend. There are multiple ways you can use and abuse from this trend. You can do an all holographic look or you can just use a clutch for example. I believe that since 2011 we have been seeing metallic things, for example nail polishes in the famous 3D, and maybe it was from there that the most known brands got the idea and now this trend is spreading big and fast. This trend is futuristic, and maybe a little bit spacial, I loved the nail polishes and now I love the looks!

Who Kind of Wore it Best?

Miley Cyrus in the Billboard 2013 Music award wore a Balmain Summer 2013 jumpsuit and Adele  Exarchopoulos wore a Balmain Summer 2013 dress in the same pattern  to the amfAR Gala 2013. The essential thing is, who wore it best? The pattern and design of both pieces are the same but I think the model of the dress looks better. Both girls looks incredible, the same patterns but different approaches and styles.

Red Carpet: my right now favorites for the 2013's Billboard Music Awards

Jennifer Lopez looked classy and sexy in this golden Zuhair Murad gown;  nevertheless I think her right breast is showing too much, pull your dress up, just a little bit!

Emmy Rossum, also fell for the designer Zuhair Murad,this semi sheer dress looked great on her.

I believe Jennifer Morrison took a major risk with this Kristian Aadvenik dress; however, she got it right!

Taylor Swift wearing Zuhair Murad, I love this shade of blue,  royal blue.
This dress suited Taylor perfectly.
